But I have to cheer up, I suppose. I need to be cheerful when writing posts.
Today Salmah gave me an old Geography textbook that belonged to her brother, since I didn't have one. She specifically said "Sorry it's kind of tatty and torn , but I hope it's oka-" But she was interrupted by me going "OH MY GOD IT'S AWESOME"
Let me explain. One of the reasons I love old books because they're used, and for some reason I find used things fascinating. I think it's nice how the paper's gone all soft and the edges are sort of folded. Maybe because sometimes in antique books there are occasional drawings or tears, and I always like to imagine what happened to them. I find it strangely amusing. The textbook was like this in many respects.

| I would even use this textbook. Honestly. |
Besides that , I have decided to write a collection of short stories in a pretty notebook I found in my cupboard. So far I intend on writing ghost stories (proper good ones, not the cliche ones that go somewhere along the lines of "I was in a haunted house, and there was a thunderstorm. Then a white sheet floated to me and said that he would haunt me forever!") but I can't think of anything yet. Any ideas, good or bad, will be highly appreciated, thank you. (Ha ha, like I'm going to get any.)
I suppose that's all for now, it's getting late, and I have to apologize to all the people I kind of yelled at. Goodnight.
